Maidenhead Chess Club

The club is now closed for the duration of the covid-19 emergency. Chess leagues and tournaments are also not running. 

On the free a team has been set up - Maidenhead chess club. It is possible for Maidenhead chess players to play on-line and on-line matches may be organised with other clubs.

We have 1 team in the 5 counties chess league (on-line). Won 3.5 to 2.5 v Surbiton A 23/06/2020. Tony Milnes and William Castanada won, Steven Foister, David Castelow and Paul Janota drew, John Wager lost Next match 7:30 Tuesday 30th v Uxbridge on .

We have 3 teams in the Berkshire League

and 2 teams in the Thames Valley League
